We pulled out the thirsty lawn in our front yard several years ago and I now have a happy cottage garden in its place. The neighbors love the variety of flowers and, even in August, it's still going strong. My biggest challenge has been to find flowers that the resident deer will leave alone. Our curious Ragdoll kitty, Isabella, couldn't resist checking out the bouquet! (The background you see in the picture is the backyard.)
