I'm not sure who was more surprised when I captured these babies waiting for mom. I heard chirping and was curious - and lo and behold - two little birds came out to say "hey!" It makes putting out birdhouses worth all the waiting. I love to attract birds to my yard and I'm gratefully rewarded each spring. It's rare that I catch the babies this curious though. I think they were just about ready to leave the nest.
