Autumn is the best time to work on your lawn. That's when cool temperatures return, the soil is still warm, rainfall is steady, and the competition for nutrients from weeds is relatively low. A maintenance program that includes aerating, fertilizing, and removing thatch will ensure that your lawn looks good come spring.
