Protect your hands with first-aid tape

Gardening can be hard on hands, especially the fingertips, nails, and cuticles. I use an adhesive sports tape, generally found near the first-aid products in the drugstore, to protect my fingertips. I tear off a strip approximately 4 to 5 inches long and wrap the tape around each fingertip down to the first knuckle. When my work is done, the tape comes off easily, and it doesn’t leave any sticky gum behind.
