Garden stakes from miscellaneous objects

I always need tall stakes to tie up hollyhocks, dahlias, etc. Instead of throwing out things like a broken fishing rod, a decapitated putter, and a broken pool cue, I save them and put them to good use in my garden. Observant friends delight in my unique stakes.
