Easy plant labels

Discarded slats from miniblinds—either the plastic or metal ones—make great plant labels. I cut them to the desired length, round the corners, and write the plants’ names on them with a permanent marker. For a smaller label, I punch a hole near the end of the marker and tie it to the plant with wire. I leave other labels longer and stick them directly into the ground.
