lew-KOE-jum Audio

Leucojum are bulbous perennials grown for their dainty, nodding bells of white or pink flowers that bloom in spring or fall. They resemble Galanthus , but generally bloom later. Foliage is grassy or strap-shaped, and sometimes glossy or grayish green. Grow snowflakes in a rock garden or border, at waterside or in a naturalized planting in grass.

Noteworthy CharacteristicsBell-shaped, dangling, white or pink flowers.

CarePlant 3 to 4 inches deep in autumn. Most species need full sun and moist, but well-drained soil. Some can take soggy conditions.
