For today’s GPOD, Petra Williams provided photos from her recent trip to the New York Botanical Garden to see the amazing installation of Chihuly glass sculptures. We provided the captions.

One story has it that Dale Chihuly was inspired to create this piece at a cocktail party after seeing a plate of cubed cheese with no way to pick them up.

After yet another vicious game, the dodgeballs of Mrs. Dinklethorp’s 4th grade class decided enough was enough, so they made a break for it.

I once grew an Echinops with a flower THIS BIG.

Pick the real name of this piece:
A) What Makes Me Sneeze #4
B) Meg Ryan’s Morning Hair
C) Sol de Citron

“How do they clean the glass way up on top? Oh, never mind. I see it.”

(Answer to #4: C. But if we had a say, it would be B)
