What To Do With All Those Wine Corks

Fine Gardening – Issue 178

I collect corks and put them into mesh produce bags. When planting my pots in spring, I drop the cork-filled bags into the bottom of the pots for a lightweight filler. At the end of the season, I hose off the dirt and save them for next year.
