Nice work, Pam. I particularly like the Camellia and the white, pink and blue hydrangeas. Cheers from Oz

My son, Ryan, just got married this weekend. His bride, Mairead, is a wonderful, loving woman. Here are a few pictures. I included a photo with me and my wife, Kathy. Oops, the pictures didn't stick. Try again.

      What photos?

      1. user-4691082 09/18/2017

It looked like a fairy tale day! I prayed for all of you that morning that all of the plans would go as planned! What a beautiful bride- so happy for Ryan! BTW, he must look like Kathy's family!!!!! I bet your daughter looks like you?. Wish there was a photo of her...hint, hint.

        1. user-7007498 09/18/2017

Thanks for the prayers. We were able to squeeze the wedding in between storm systems. It was a great weekend.

    2. tennisluv 09/18/2017

Two really nice looking couples. Congratulations.

      1. user-7007498 09/18/2017

        Thanks, Sonya.

    3. sheila_schultz 09/18/2017

Congratulations to you and your family, Kevin. Aren't we lucky when our children fall in love with someone that loves their family, too?

      1. user-7007498 09/18/2017

Thanks, Sheila. Mairead comes from a large family that is so supportive of each other. It is great to join families that both have great values.

  3. user-4691082 09/18/2017

Hi Pam, I love your mushrooms. I have some too, as my hubby is a mushroom grower. I wish we could grow camellias like yours-they are beautiful! Is that spotty plant a calla lilly? What zone do you garden in? I am guessing zone 8...

    1. frankgreenhalgh 09/18/2017

Hey Rhonda - Somewhere in the back of my mind, I seem to recall that Sweden was leading the world in terms of mushroom production technology. Did Johnny learn the art of mushroom production in Sweden before hitting the big time (i.e. meeting you) in the US? Cheers, Frank

      1. user-4691082 09/18/2017

Lol! I didn't even know Sweden was in the game! No, he learned it in Kennett Square, Pa-the mushroom capital of the world! No kidding...!

    Wedding pictures. See prior post

Hi Kev. - Mairead and Ryan are a lovely couple - and the bouquet is fantastic too. Oh - you and Kathy (i.e. the proud parents of the groom) are not too shabby as well! Pressure is off now. Congratulations and thanks for sharing. Cheers, Frank

      1. user-7007498 09/18/2017

Thanks, Frank. Mairead is a terrific woman. Her family is so warm and inviting. We are so happy to join the 2 families.

Mairead and Ryan are a lovely couple so do you and Kathy! Congraduations! Are they married in your garden?

      1. user-7007498 09/18/2017

Thanks. They were married in the Philadelphia area were they reside. Her family lives there.

Looks like a beautiful couple and wedding, Kevin. You and your bride aren't too shabby, either. Mairead is an unusual name. Is there a story behind that?

      1. user-7007498 09/18/2017

Hi, Linda. Mairead is Irish for Margaret. Both families have strong ties to Ireland (her grandparents and my parents were born in Ireland).

May the newly married couple be blessed with happiness always! Congratulations on adding such a lovely young woman to your family, Kevin. You and your wife must have raised a wonderful young man.

      1. user-7007498 09/18/2017

Thanks, Lorraine. We have been blessed with 2 fabulous children, of whom I am so proud. It was a lovely weekend.

What a treat to have a peek at this wonderous day. The bride is beyond beautiful and they make a lovely couple. Sincerest congrats to all.

Love how all the colors mix & mingle so well together. Love everything.

Nice gardening. Like the picture of the Annabelle (?) hydrangea & tall yellow lily and the puppy sniffing camellia. Thanks for sharing your skill.

  7. cheryl_c 09/18/2017

Hi, Pam, Your pictures are lovely, your garden even more so. My favorite shot is also the one with the tall yellow lilies on the right and the golden meadow through the break in the bushes with a ?barn? in the distance. Wow, talk about pulling us into the picture! Thanks so much for sharing.

Looks like you've got a great gardening space for your 20 years of play. That's about as long as I've been gardening at my home. I love the pop of your Crocosmia amidst that great foliage and that big, yellowish lily is a winner!

  9. Sunshine111 09/18/2017

    Your lilies are magnificent! ???

  10. sheila_schultz 09/18/2017

Beautiful blooms, Pam, it looks like you might have a sizable piece of property to play with!

  11. user-6536305 09/18/2017

Great plant combinations! Thanks for sharing Pam.

Good morning, Pam. You drew me in today with your puppy sniffing the camellia, although, the only one that we have with much scent to it is 'Yuletide'. Love the tall yellow lily with annabelle (?) and the dark leaves of the cotinus. The tree line around the grass in the background of the photo with the blue pots is interesting. Is that part of your garden and do you know what they are? Thanks for sharing.

  14. user-7008735 09/18/2017

Wow! That tall cream and yellow lily is a stunner. Is it one of the kind advertised as a "lily tree"?

You certainly have some wonderful garden vignettes, Pam. I honestly can't pick a favorite among your photos. I no sooner think it's the tall lilies then I scroll down one and fall in love with the bluish purple hydrangeas surrounded by chartreuse companions. Love your deep blue accent pieces.
