A sunny oasis in the snow
comments (1) March 11th, 2009 in blogsConnecticut is such a maze of back roads that I could drive a different route to work every day. But I'm stuck in a rut, so I usually stick to one scenic route that takes my over the hills and through the woods, and over a beautiful lake.
The other day my carpool buddies and I decided to mix it up a bit and explore another route. About halfway home, we drove by this house and yelled wildly in unison "Look at that!" It's a monster sunroom filled with truly monster-sized plants!
We were all pretty darned impressed, and had a strong urge to knock on this person's door so we could see it from the inside. We've resisted so far…
